Secure connection to Scratch (using ALL Browsers)
Several weeks ago, Scratch moved from http to https connection protocol. Due to connection between Scratch environment and Aisoy1 have to use, since then, both must use secure protocol https for running properly. Other case browser security policies will blocked that conexion.
This process will empower Scratch working on all browsers (that are compatible with mentioned connection protocol). To use on this way, we have to download and use the last Scratch Template.
Now, open your browser. Then, write the next url on your browser address bar:
for example, if your robot has 10.0.0.1 ip:
or if your robot name is “aisoy1” (by default):
This is the address that Scratch will use to connect to our robot, and we have to confirm to browser that this is secure.
Follow next steps:
Go to Aisoy1 IP address
Browser will show you a warning message. Accept it to confirm we want to make that conexion*. After that, if you get the message: Can "Upgrade" only to "WebSocket". All is Ok!
Load Scratch environment
Open Aisoy1 Scratch template and use it as usual
If you want browser to accept connections to your robot IP or NAME permanently, you should add this addresses (https://YOUR_ROBOT_IP_ADDRESS:9090 or https://aisoy1.local:9090) to be considered secure addresses by it.
* IMPORTANT for Internet Explorer users. All steps should be done in the same tab of your browser. Aisoy Scratch Template will not work properly if you use different tabs or windows. Security policies in that browser are a little different from the others.
