There are some situations where the robot won’t be able to connect to the same network as the computer is, for instance if this network has security protocols, MAC protection, firewalls, etc...
Even if the robot can’t connect to a network it is possible to use ScratchX. If Aisoy don’t know a network where to connect to, it will create its own Wi-Fi network, the same as at the very beginning when first booting the robot. So the steps are the following:
- Your computer must be connected to a network with internet. Then open the Aisoy ScratchX website: http://www.aisoy.com/pages/scratchx
- Then connect your computer to the Wi-Fi network created by the robot: “Aisoy1-xxxx”
- Now you can proceed as usual. You can find all the required information in the user manual: https://aisoy.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000859214--en-User-s-Guide-Aisoy1-KiK
In that case, the ip address of the robot it will be always the same: 192.168.33.1
